I See No Ships…
Having started some months ago following the Summits On The Air programme, I thought it was about time I did as so many other SOTA participants have done and shared my experiences of taking Amateur Radio out of the shack and into the Great Outdoors. Here, then, is my first attempt at blogging. I’m not really sure what I’m doing here but we’ll see how it goes!
SOTA is a fantastic program not only for those of us aspiring “Mountain Goats” who want to get out and about with our radio gear but also for “Shack Sloths” chasing Summits from home. I’m sure that many of you visiting my blog site will already be very familiar with SOTA but for those of you who aren’t, I hope that when you’ve checked out my ramblings you’ll be inspired to give it a go.
I look forward to contacting you on the air next time I’m out there with my radio in the Great Outdoors.
